This policy explains how Pandemonium (“we”, “us”), operated from Singapore, collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal data, consistent with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
Account data: name and email address when you create an account. Billing data: your payment is processed by Stripe; we receive subscription status and the last four digits of your card, never full card details. Usage data: pages visited, lessons read and device information, collected to operate and improve the service. Correspondence: messages you send us.
To provide and secure the service, manage your membership and billing, respond to you, send service messages and — only if you opt in — the newsletter. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.
Service providers acting on our instructions: Webflow (hosting), Memberstack (accounts and authentication) and Stripe (payments). These providers may process data outside Singapore; where they do, we ensure a comparable standard of protection as required by the PDPA. We may also disclose data where required by law.
We use strictly necessary cookies for sign-in and session management, and limited analytics to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking sign-in cookies will prevent member access from working.
We keep personal data for as long as your account exists and as needed for legal, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Under the PDPA you may request access to or correction of your personal data, and withdraw consent to its collection or use (which may mean we can no longer provide the service). Contact our data protection contact at musings@pandemonium.sg; we will respond within a reasonable time.
We use reputable providers, encryption in transit and access controls to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps required under the PDPA to protect your data.
